Add the ground venison to a skillet over medium heat and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Mix well and reduce heat to low.

Add the shredded white cheddar cheese and stir until melted. This helps the meat mixture hold together better in the sandwich. Remove from the heat.

Build your sandwich by placing one slice of cheese on the bottom piece of bread, topping with the taco meat mixture, and adding another slice of cheese on top before placing the second piece of bread on top.

Butter a skillet and toast the sandwich over medium heat until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted. Remove from the skillet and carefully lift off the top slice of bread.

Add your favorite taco toppings. I used onion, tomatoes, jalapeños, avocado, lettuce, and a drizzle of queso. Replace the top slice of bread, cut in half, and enjoy!
